Need your Help for the Beacon and DK

Hi,

I want to know that how if we have Beacon on one side and Development kit on another side so it is possible to communicate them if they are using different services?

If beacon is slave and DK is master which is scanning and beacon is sending the data.

Scanning for beacon devices will begin automatically. The project parses the advertisement packet for the service UUID, and attempts to connect to the first device it sees which advertises this service.

So what one needs to do in order to communicate master with any random beacon from the market?

Beacons dont have services, they only advertise data. You cant communicate (initiate connection) with them. You can only read what they are advertising.

So how can I pair with them if I have DK kit other than nordic semiconductor on one side means receiver side and beacon on one sid

I mean do I need to add the uuid in the GATT for the beacon ??

you cant pair with a beacon. Beacon only does a one way communication (advertising data), whereas pairing is a two way communication. You cannot send data to a beacon, you can only read from it.

I know that I just want in my application that the data that will be send by the beacon will be received by another development kit then the development kit will send that to its UART port.

How the development kit will know that I will have to get data from this specific beacon?
