NRF52 development kit does not power up

Hello,

I have been using the development kit for more than a month when after one flashing, the LED 5 on the board started blinking at one second intervals and the board froze. After unplugging from the USB and plugging it back again the board does not power up anymore.

I tried the battery, without the USB, but same behavior was shown.

Any help?

Does the LED5 glow/blink now? Can you find the the J-link device in the windows device manager?

No. LED 5 does not blink/glow and I cannot find the J-Link device in the device manager.

I found the problem. The J - Link file was deleted. When i started the board in bootloader mode and coppied the J-Link OB file everything was fine. What could cause this behavior?

Hi, that is not supposed to happen randomly.

• Were you doing anything unusual at the time?
• Could it be that you drag-and-dropped a .hex file onto the kit while it was in bootloader mode?
• Do you have a lot of jumper wires floating around or other metal parts that might have shorted some of the circuits on the kit?

I am using the board for debugging my custom board. I flashed my board and afterwards this happened. I noticed also that the softdevice hex file was deleted from the components directory.
