Want to communicate 2 PCA10040 dev board

Hi, I am trying to communicate to PCA10040 (nRF52) dev board to communicate.

Basically i want to configure 1 board as Master another as slave, so master will initiate the connection to pair another dev board.

Could you please help me to implement this.

Is there any sample example available

Hi,

There are multiple examples in our SDK that you can use for this, depending on what information you want to communicate.

• Nordic UART Service Client (central) and UART/Serial Port Emulation over BLE (peripheral) can be used for sending text strings from on device to the other.
• BLE Heart Rate Collector Example (central) and Heart Rate Application (peripheral) can be used for transmitting heart rate data from one device to the other.
• BLE Blinky Client Application (central) and BLE Blinky Application (peripheral) can be used for controlling LEDs on the connected device. You can also use the BLE Multi-link Example as central to controll LEDs on multiple connected devices simultaneously.

There is also some other examples if you don't feel that any of these fits your needs. Please browse the SDK documentation on the infocenter.
