This is an error that may show when installing the Segger CDC driver, which we have bundled with the nRF51 SDK installer. The issue is that this specific installer cannot determine x86/x64 in certain situations.
Try running one of the attached .exe's that match your OS architecture.
MY problem is not solved . I run the jlink CDC 64 bit exe, as my windows are 64 bit, and then i reinstall nrf51 sdk v 5_0_0 but still after the setup it fails to install the driver. still there is an error in installation driver
I solved it. I have got Win 7 64 bit. I have uninstalled Windows update KB2918614 then the installation works fine. After installation I update KB2918614 again.
