mergehex nrfjprog build target eclipse ide

Hi there, I was able to issue "make VERBOSE=1 mergehex" from my cmd line and it worked. When I do the same via build target from Eclipse, it is giving me "no such file or directory" error. Hi, are you working in Windows? In that case, try to remove quotes ("") from the search path to mergehex (assuming you do have it). Make invokes shell instead of cmd when calling it from Eclipse, and there seems to be a difference in how it handles whitespaces.

sorry, I forgot to mention, I'm using mac. I'm a little confused on where to put search mergehex search path.

Sorry, my answer was not relevant then. In Eclipse, if you go to Project properties -> C/C++ Build -> Environment, do you see if the path to mergehex is listed in the PATH variable? You could try to just copy mergehex to wherever Make is located on your system just to see check if this is a path related issue.

yes, they were there both mergehex and nrfjprog were added as "user:config". I also added their locations to ~/.bash_profile and I was able to run it from anywhere through cmd line.
