Advertise Specific Number of Packet

Hello i am using Nrf52840 with sdk 132 and version 12.2

i am using the Heart Rate example as template.now i am just testing. Before making connection,i like to Advertise Specific Number of Packet for example one Packet. then i will change the data inside of the packet and advertise again one packet.

How this is possible to archive this task.

You don't really specify the number of packets that will be advertised, but you specify an advertising interval and and advertising timeout. So it is easy for example to change the advertising data every time you get this timeout for example.

If you want to change the advertising data on every packet have a look at this.

so my advertising interval is 100 ms. but the timeout parameter is in second. if i put the minimum value of 1 second, means at least he will advertise 10 packet according to theory.

so this will not be perfectly controlled using this method.

is this possible if i stop the advertising in the ble_radio_notification_init handler ?

You will have 10 advertising events, in each event you are sending one advertisment on the three advertising channels, see this for more information. You can stop the advertising in the callback you set with ble_radio_notification_init(), but you don't need to stop advertising to change the advertising data.
