Power consumption around 2.2mA even in idle state

I am using proximity profile using NRF52 DK.When i started measuring power consumption it is not at all coming less than 2mA.

In order to make as low power ,is there any settings i need to adjust.I am using SDK 12.2.0 and sodt device s132 3.0.0.

Please help out.

What peripherals are you using? I noticed that if the UART peripheral is enabled the power consumption increases to around 2.2mA.

I disabled both UART and NRF_LOG,Still the power consumption is 2.2mA.

Hi MVR,

Have you made sure you do a power reset of the chip after you program it ? Otherwise it will stay in debug mode and you will see about 2mA consumption.

I have done power off and On,still the same continues.Actually i connected custom board to NRF52 DK.with connections like swdio,swclk,reset,Vcc,GND.

Please take a close up photo show how you do current measurement. Which firmware did you use ? Please try to test with the example\peripheral\rtc example and check which current consumption you have . Excluding the current consumption from the LED it should be about 3-4uA.
