Hi all,

first I have to admit that I'm a total rookie in "electricity". I know BLE software-side but just started to learn the hardware stuff. I just received my PPK and connected it with the nrf52DK (as explained in the infocenter). It shows a negative current (connected via Micro USB to my MacBook Pro with Touchbar). Is it my fault? Or could it be that there is a problem because the PPK software is running in Parallels? As a side note: when run in Parallels on a 4K screen the PPK software does not show the units...

The supported operating systems for the PPK software is Microsoft Windows 7/8/10.

But, the PPK desktop application is developed using Python, which works on a number of platforms. However, it is recommended to use the PPK only with Microsoft Windows, as the tool has not been tested on other platforms. You can also test with Otti. Otii should support Windows, Linux, and macOS

Did you cut the SB9 on nRF5 DK? Please refer the detail from PPK UserGuide. http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/...

I am only measuring noise

Make sure you have prepared the nRF5x DK for power measurements by cutting the SB9 as described in Step 1 in Quick start.
