Simple application for transferring data over BLE?

I have been studying the ble_app_hrs example, but it has unnecessary functionalities, and it is hard to understand.

Do you have a simple application for transferring data over BLE?

The simplest application we have in our SDK for transferring data is the ble_app_uart, found in nrf51822\Board\pca10001\s110\experimental\ble_app_uart

It can be used with Master Control Panel or one of the UART apps we have for iOS and Android.

You can also take a look at nAN-36 Creating Bluetooth Low Energy Applications Using nRF51822, it is available on the nRF51822 product page.

It explains how to build a simple application which is sending button pushes and LED statuses over the BLE link. Currently it is not compatible with the newest SoftDevice(7.0.0) and SDK(6.0.0), but you can find the working code for SoftDevice 6.0.0 and SDK 5.2.0 on GitHub.

I load the nrf51822\Board\pca10001\s110\experimental\ble_app_uart project on my nRF51422. But when I scan with the official UART application from nRFToolbox I cant find my device.
