I want to use the nRF51-DK to communicate with my iPhone over bluetooth and be able to print results from an ADC channel on my phone so that I can monitor it.

How do I achieve this and is there an example in the SDK similar to this?

Hi,

Take a look at this example on our GitHub. It will trigger 4 samples pr. second and send the first sample of the ADC buffer over BLE (Nordic UART service). If you set the ADC_BUFFER_SIZE define to 1, every sample should be sent over BLE. You can read the data on your phone using the UART app in nRF Toolbox App.
