current consumption of nRF52 DK

Hi, I measured the current consumption of nRF52DK with the original code of "nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_beacon ", based on the current measurement guidelines. The results is that the current in the system on idle mode is 2.1uA. However, in the datasheet, the current in the system on, full RAM rention, wake on any event mode is 1.5μA. Could you tell me how to reduce the current to 1.5μA? Is the revision of the code required?

I'm measuring ~ 1.83 µA in System ON(idle) mode for this example with external 32kHz crystal, which is close to the expected value. With internal RC expected current consumption is 2.2 µA. See this post for more information on that. You will have to disable the SoftDevice, and turn off the LFCLK/RTC in order to get 1.5µA.
