Bluetooth Mesh SDK Timeline

The Bluetooth Mesh SDK is currently tagged as alpha software. Is there a timetable for its progression into beta and to a stable release?

I'm evaluating the nRF52832 for a project and need to see if this SDK is likely to become stable within my timeline.
