saadc API missing in nrf SDK for HomeKit?

It appears to me that some of the saadc APIs (e.g. those found in nrf_drv_saadc.h in SDK 1.4.0) are missing in the nrf SDK for HomeKit.

Some hint where to find these functions would be greatly appreciated and in case they are actually missing: what's the recommended way to sample analog input signals with this version of the SDK.

Either way I'd be really glad if you could help me here.
