Need UART service only in nRF toolbox

Hi All,

I am a beginner in app development. I am working on a project where i am supposed to transfer texts to my pca10040. Although i wanted know if i can modify nRF Toolbox 2.4.0 such that i use only UART service and removing other services and if yes, how?

  • First off, are you using iOS or Android? Should be doable I believe. Just make sure to read the license of the iOS or Android Toolbox app that you can download from Github first (here for iOS, here for Android).

  • I have not tried programming any apps in Android yet, but have some experience with Swift and iOS programming. If you are using Android, I can show you how to get started, but I won't be able to help as much as if you are using iOS.
