Can't start DFU with nRF connect/Tool box on Android OS

I work with nRF52832, based on SDK 14.0.0, and I have done DFU operation successfully with nRF connect on iOS, but when I used Android phone, nRF connect couldn't start DFU, it just displayed "disconnecting" and quited after I had selected a file. Then I chose nRF Tool Box, and it showed "invalid file", I'm confused because the file(distribution zip) is same as used successfully on iOS. I'm pretty sure I don't miss any step on generating DFU pkg. So, Is there any difference about requirement of nRF connect between Android and iOS?

  • Talked to a DFU expert here at Nordic and he thought it should be easier to get DFU to work on Android compared to iOS. Have you tried turning the Bluetooth on and off on your Android phone? Have you tried restarting your Android phone? As far as I know, there should not be any difference in requirements of nrf connect between Android and iOS. Just let me know if you still have difficulties and I will take a closer look. Regards, Bjørn
