reset advertisement timer

I use the advertisement timeout to shut down the MCU. Is is possible to reset the advertisement timeout on the fly, e.g. if there is any activity I would like to extend the timer so it's not shut down while user is using the app but is not connected to a central?

Have you tried restarting the advertisement? Just call 'adv_stop' and then 'adv_start' with the new timeout value?

It is not possible to reset the advertisement timout on the fly. You will have to stop and restart the advertising as @shibshab suggests.
