How to use the PC version of nRF Connect?

Im following the example Alert Notification Application and read this instruction:

In nRF Connect, create the Alert Notification Service (ANS) server by performing the following steps: In Server Setup, click the settings button and select "Load setup". In the resulting window, navigate to the \examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_alert_notification folder. Load the file AlertNotifServer.ncs.

but I cannot see a right interface of "nRF Connect"

when I chow YES, to program , the Board become dead

how can I find the " settings button and select "Load setup" ???

Hi, can you try to program the firmware with e.g. nrfjprog? You can find the .hex files in the folder path "\nrfconnect\resources\app.asar.unpacked\node_modules\pc-ble-driver-js\pc-ble-driver\hex" (on windows).

Have you tried to restart nRF Connect and disconnect and reconnect your kit to the PC?

Also what kit are you using?
