Bluetooth Mesh for image transfer

Hi, I'm looking for feedback on the feasibility of using Bluetooth Mesh to network Bluetooth modules in a series of adjacent hotel rooms. All the nodes are also relays since all nodes are powered from the wall. I would have a cellular gateway somewhere in the network to pass on data to the cloud.

I think it's a pretty typical setup for the intended use of mesh, except the data I'm trying to get to the cellular gateway is an image file, about 80kB. Does the flood nature of mesh communication make this awkward? Images have to be broken down and then reassembled at the gateway. And the geography of hotels means there are many hops to reach the gateway. I'm unsure about how the topology of Bluetooth mesh might break down.

There isn't a lot of traffic, I'd only expect to transfer maybe one 80kB image a day out of about 50+ nodes. But wanted to see if I can get some opinions before heading down this route.

Oh, just realize it might be creepy talking about transferring images from hotel rooms. I swear this is all above board and not creepy at all.

Thanks! Eric
