Is "nRF51822 Evaluation Kit" not recommended anymore?

I can see a phrase "Not recommended " on the Evaluation Kit's page: www.nordicsemi.com/.../nRF51822-Evaluation-Kit

What could that mean for me if I already have the kit - will there be any limitations (in future software) in the nearest several months which would prevent me from effectively using the kit with S110, S120 and S130?

It means that the future is here and we have launched a new combined EK and DK.

For you as a developer it means that you will still have access to code examples and softdevices for your nRF51822-EK, but the future releases of SDK, softdevice and tools will by default be setup to utilize the new kit. It will be possible to use the kit you have, but it requires slight modifications by using a different define in the code examples. To make it easier on customers that's in the same position that you are in now, there's a migration document available in the new SDK to show you how to use your nRF51822-EK with new SDK. So all in all it's not much that will change, so you can happily continue to use the kit you have.

The reason for why we launched a new kit was to show off the new revision of the chip as well. It's got some additional features that you will not be able to use as they aren't present on the kit that you currently have.
