nRF51-DK board not detected!

Hi,

I am trying to connect my nRF51-DK board to my Windows 7 PC. But the board is not being detected. I checked the Windows device manager too and this device is not shown there. Any suggestions/comments ?

P.S: I see LED5 blinking rapidly..

Hi, it seems to be the issue with the USB line, have you made sure you use a proper USB cable ? When I connected the board with the USB power cable (with no data line) I had the same behaviour on the board (LED5 blinking rapidly). Also try to connect the board with another PC for testing. If it's not the issue with the cable, I think you can check with the distributor for a replacement.

Ran into this issue as well. Swapped cables and the DK connected normally.

@Nick Pelis: Thanks for letting us know. I guess it could be the chance that the cable was for charging only, not for data.
