Reading data from tmp102 and nrf51822 ek

I am a very beginner on embedded field.

I have a nrf51822 and tmp 102. I follow this direction on mbed site

and it's actually working. The code provide is C++, simple and easy to understand. The only problem for that code is it's in C++ and battery service is fake number. It's continously decreasing from 100 to 50 and comes back to 100. Is there any code for TMP102 in C and actually working fine with the Nordic apps on iPhone ? I do implementation more sensors HTU21D as humidity sensor and TSL2561 as light sensor. Is there any platform to test the data i receive from those sensors?

Hi

It seems that all these sensors are using TWI (I2C) interface for communication. There is a TWI example in the nRF51 SDK which you can use to receive the data from the sensors. It should be fairly easy to send this data over BLE in order to receive with a smartphone. We have several BLE (LE) examples in the SDK as well that you can use in combination with the TWI example to send the data over BLE to be received by a smartphone, IOS or Android.

There is a blog here that instructs how to enabled the mbed kit for C code and Keil. The streamlined method is however to purchase the latest nRF51 DK development kit to start development with examples in the nRF51 SDK.
