bluetooth 4.1 features

​i have bluetooth usb 4.0 dongle..which part of bluetooth stack it contains...?to support simultaneous master and slave connections will it need any firmware update...?

whether linux kernel and bluez supports this simultaneous colnnections...? or i have to buy new bluetooth 4.1 dongle...? is such devices or available...?

I don't know what kind of dongle you have. Is it a dongle based on a Nordic chip? BlueZ will handle simultaneous connections, but I can't say if it works with your dongle or not as I don't know what dongle it is. Have you tried setting it up?

it is broad-com dongle which supports Bluetooth 4.0,i need to maintain the connections with two devices simultaneously,i.e one in master role and another one in slave role..is it possible with 4.1 Bluetooth dongle(which has only controller stack)...?is bluez supports it...?

The roles you describe should not be possible according to Bluetooth 4.0. Whether or not is would work with the dongle you have and BlueZ stack, I'm not sure of. Potentially it could work as the BlueZ stakc might be updated, but it's a combination I haven't tried, so I can't tell you for sure. Have you tried setting it up?
