EmbedXcode NRF51822

Hey there,

Red Bear Labs sells a board with a NRF51822 Module on it. From a past post I have found it is said:

"embedXcode supports the nRF51822 MDK board for both the Wiring / Arduino framework and the mbed SDK. It relies on standard makefiles"

Does this mean I can develop firmware specifically for the module with embedXcode? I want to use the board to prototype but tap into the full potential the NRF51822 has to offer as well as develop firmware for something that will not be using the Arduino IDE.

Hi Tyler,

I don't have much experience with embedXcode, but as far as it uses makefile to compile I don't see any reason that you would have limitation when developing firmware for the nRF51. But people from Redbear and embedXcode should be better on answering this question.
