nRF51822 s120 hci command support

Hi I want to using nRF51822 link with MCU ti-am335x have Linux system(Ubuntu) by standard HCI command, BlueZ or related hci tool. I know that I can use nRF51822 S120 serialization and HCI tranport library, but is that venodr-specific packet means the nRF51822 can not received standard HCI command and have correct response?

Does this means I have to redirect all the required HCI command on my own?

It's urgent task, so it's very welcome for any help Thanks for advance!

Hi, our BLE Serialization solution uses the softdevice API which is encoded an transferred serially to the nRF51 from the application chip (ti-am335x), but it does not support the standard HCI commands.

Running a serialized application chapter in the SDK documentation explains how you can to this with two DK kits with our existing serialized examples. These example applications can also be ported to your own controller. Another option is to use the nRF51-BLE-Driver-Linux x64 if you want to run an application from your Linux system.

Does it mean that we can cross compile nRF51-BLE-Driver-Linux x64, run it under embedded linux and use standard HCI commands to communicate with dongle over UART/USB?

@Johnny: As mentioned by Vidar, it's not standard HCI command to control the BLE chip.

It's our proprietary serialization library so that you can use the same API interface provided by the S110 stack on your application chip the same way as you are running directly on the nRF51 chip.
