nRF52 SDK Installation

I want to evaluate the nRF52 SDK, but don't get how to install it.

The Getting Started section mentions an MDK installer. However, I cannot find any such installer inside the nRF52_SDK_0.9.0_0c82e3e.zip.

How can I install the nRF52 SDK?

There is a link in the first line in the Getting Started section with a link to how set up your nRF52 development kit. Have you followed the steps there?

Edit: I'm sorry, the MDK installer is obviously not included in the zip, ignore that sentence. I'll report this.

Click on set up your set up your nRF52 development kit and follow the steps there.

If you installed MDK Version 5 Microcontroller Development Kit you also need to install Device Family Pack 8.0.3. You can find it here. You install it by selecting Pack Installer in Keil and then File->Import

If you mean installing the generic dev environment: Yes, nRF51 works perfectly for me and also had an installer inside the SDK zip. However, nRF52 does not have an installer packaged.

The Device Family Pack install works fine. However, I want to install the actual SDK (you need to install BOTH the device family pack and the SDK). How can I install the SDK without the MDK installer or a packet file to import?

The nRF52 SDK only comes as a zip, it doesn't have pack support yet. So you don't install the actual SDK. You just unzip, and then open a project by navigating the folder structure. To open for example ble_app_hrs you open the project file in examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_hrs\pca10036\s132\arm5_no_packs
