nrf51822 softdevice 8.0.0 with IC reversion 1 does not send BLE frames

Hi,

i have a bunch of nrf51822 hwid 0024 or 001E. With softdevice s110 version 7 everything worked fine, but starting with 8, they pretend to work fine (no error codes) but dont actually send anything on the air.

How can i get them working?

The chip REV1 is not supported in the SDK8 and it does not work with SD8. You should stick to the SD7. Rev 2 and above work with SD8.

I'm surprised it even works with SD7 as the compatibility matrix lists SD5.2.1 as the last compatible SD for the rev 1 chips. I"m not surprised at all that 8 doesn't work.
