nRF52 and CrossWorks Environment

I'm wondering if anyone has managed to use CrossWorks in their tool chain for building code for the nRF52?

  • I have - in fact I am just finishing up a crossworks package which has all the options in it for building, a linker which allows use of the double-mapped RAM (not that that works on the current preview which has memory location bugs) and makes a template project for you as well. I have the memory simulator, the loader all done and working 'blinky', I have to integrate the softdevice stuff in and ensure I can get that working, probably a few days more work still when I have some free time.

You're welcome to have that when I'm done with it, I'd suggest holding on a few days more as I'm still making quite a few changes.

When it's all finished I'll send it to Rowley and I'm pretty sure they'll support it, although perhaps not until the production chip comes out.

Feel free to PM me and I'll ship it to you when it's done, and I'll write a blog post for anyone else who cares.

  • Have you finished your work? I wish I can get your options for the building.

    Thanks!
