@Bamaco: Our current BLE softdevice only support maximum 8 connections concurrently. I haven't seen a solution from other vendors that can support more than 8 connections.
However, you can think of a connection-less network where all the note using broadcast (advertising) to talk to each other, then you can achieve a larger number of devices in a network.
