nRF5x_MDK_8_0_3_IAR.msi with IAR

I have IAR Embedded Workbench 7.40 installed with nRF5x_MDK_8_0_3_IAR.msi. However when i select nRF52832_xxAA i get the below message:

WTD: Unavailable option selection: 'nRF52832_xxAA'. WTD: Changed to default selection: 'None'.

What version of IAR is should be used in conjunction with nRF5x_MDK_8_0_3_IAR.msi?

A little bit of back history: I was originally using IAR Embedded Workbench V7.30.4 but i had to update to the newer version as it had a bug for compiling for the Cortex-M4.

do not have 7.4 IAR, will get it soon and will test this.

Hi Aryan, I managed to solve the problem with help from IAR. The i79 file was incorrect.

The following changes need to be made:

• replace fpu=VFPv4-SP with fpu=VFPv4_SP
• replace name=Cortex-M4F with name=Cortex-M4

My contact at IAR said he had informed their product management team and said he expects Nordic would be informed shortly.
