How to turn an External LED connected to nrf51822 board from "nrf master control" app in mobile. Please tell me the code

I have the Heart Rate Service(HRS) program written in embedded c. I connected a two LEDs to nrf51822 board. One LED will start blinking when advertisement starts and other LED has to turn ON whenever i send a command from ''nrf master control'' app in my mobile. Please help me how to write code to turn on LED

It shows how to add a characteristic that you can write to in order to toggle a LED on the nRF51 DK.

Thank you for the answer but where will i get Makefile to compile this program?

I added a makefile to the repo just now. Download the SDK 8.0.0 zip-file, and place the example code in the ble_perpheral folder. It should compile using armgcc now.
