Mapping external program memory , possible ?

Is there a way to map external memory (SPI connected) to force the app to start execution from there ?

If not feasable , there is a way to transfer the execution from internal flash to an external one and switching off the internal memory (from supply power) not used by softdevice?

I am interested in this too for an Ant application. In theory this is what the bootloader example does, downloads a piece of code, verifies it, and then copies it internal memory for subsequent execution. You might try looking there and seeing if you can modify the bootloader example to pull your code from SPI flash instead of from an OTA download.

You can't directly run code from an external flash; you'll have to copy the code from the external flash either into the internal flash or to internal RAM, and run it from there.

There is no way to turn off the internal flash.
