Master Emulator API usage for OOB key

Hi Nordic support, I want to use the OOB key pairing and I found the below discussion: Set OOB key on Master Control Panel? This means I need to implement the application by ourselves. I check the path under "Master Emulator" folder and found a doc to talk about the useage: MasterEmulator.chm In which briefly talk about the OobKeyRequestEventArgs Class.

I am not very familiar with C#. Please kindly provide some related example code for conneciton setup to use the OOB key setting.

Hi Henry,

Actually, we are now support OOB key pairing with the MCP( v3.10). If you go to File -> Option -> Security, you can enable Out of Band authentication support.

I knew that, but how to make it really work? Since our PC do not have NFC to do real exchange of the OOB key. Where can I input a OOB key manually MCP for test purpose?

Hi Henry,

Yes, you simply type in the key in when asked. There will be a popup window appear when the Master Control Panel bond with the peripheral. You can test with the hrs with NFC example in the nRF52 SDK.
