Example code for PWM using PPI, nRF51822

Hello,

I have the nRF51822 Evaluation Kit. I have run the basic code examples like 'Blinky' and the BlueTooth HRS (Heart Rate) application, successfully. Now I would like to start building my application, and this requires a PWM, however I was not able to find any example code or any explanation that can help me start building a basic PWM function to integrate into the code. Is there anyone that have an example of PWM or that can point me to some references.

Appreciate any help.

Hi,

if you have installed the SDK, you can find in the SDK Path an example called something like "pwm_example" and "simple_pwm_motor_control". They use in the examples timer 2 and the CC Registers to build an PWM signal.

It should be noted that these examples are made for the Development Kit and not the Evaluation Kit, so they are in the nrf6310 folder instead of pca10001. However, they should be easily portable from one to the other, so they should still be useful to the original asker.

Thank you so much Nils. Thank you Ole, your clarification was indeed important as I thought that the nrf6310 was a complete different device, and the example code for it is not complaint with the nRF51822.
