How does the IOS app or Android app realtime refresh the RSSI value?

Once connected to the peer, the app will begin with "sd_ble_gap_rssi_start()", and the peer will send RSSI sample to the softdevice, and the SD will back to APP with a "BLE_GAP_EVT_RSSI_CHANGED" . Is this the right procedure to refresh the RSSI value ? If so ,what is the frequency of RSSI sample transmition?

I'm doing this app were I get the RSSI measurements from previous choosen APs (whch are retrieved in the "recebidos" variable stated in the code bellow!), but after the scan in broadcast receive the application is not updating the RSSI value, it is just returning the previous value all the time!!! What is wrong in this code, can't I use getScanResults with the WifiManager.SCAN_RESULTS_AVAILABLE_ACTION?
