unit test on nrf51822?

I saw CU_TEST_START in the src, so nordic must do the unittest, can nordic provide a unit test guide?

Hi Julian,

Unit testing is a part of our internal testing, which we do not expose externally. I see that this is useful for customers who wants to do extensive testing of their application.

What I can do is to input this as a feature request internally, but this is not a guarantee that it's going to be made.

It was a slip in the automated build system causing the cutests to be included. They shouldn't have been there.

unittest is very important to software quality.... I wish Nordic can have it soon for customers

Some guidance on unit testing, either as part of the SDK, or a tutorial with a supported framework that is proven to work well with the SDK and nRF51 would be much appreciated. We are going to look into Ceedling and Unity (not the game engine!) right now, but it seems like some work.
