"Error - flash download failed - Cortex M0

I get following message when I try to program with the Blinky project a nrf51822 chip: "Error - flash download failed - Cortex M0.

What is wrong?

Maybe this could work: There are many things that can produce this error. But in my case this resolve the problem. First...Try to Erase the nrf51822 chip from the nRFgo Studio. Then get back to keil and try to program blinky... cheers

to my understanding.mybe the NRF51822 was in powerdown mode.you can plug the ek again,maybe you can program the 51822 sucessfully.

No, it does not solve it. I can program the soft device section but not the application section for some reason. Still shows "Error - flash download failed - Cortex M0.

Have you seen this question? It sounds to me like your problem most likely is point 2 in my answer there.
