nRF51 sniffer ( same issue as previous question)

Hi, I just purchased an nRF51 sniffer. I have set everything up as per the UM. When I invoke the sniffer application, it says scanning for devices, but nothing shows up. I searched thru the archives to see if anyone else has a similar problem and came across this question :

It appears that the solution is to roll back the jlink version ( to 5.10d). However when I go to the segger site, the oldest version is 5.12.

So, this leands to some questions :

1. Is there a newer version of the jlink tools that have been verified to work with the nRF51 sniffer. If so, can the version please be provided

2. If there is not a newer version, is it possible to provide the Jlink version 5.10d . I know this is an unusual request, but I searched all over and could not find Jlink version 5.10d

3. Is there any other way to verify the behavior of the dongle

What is the Nordic hardware that you purchased ? nRF51-DK ? nRF51-Dongle ?

You should try the latest version of segger jlink, the link that you posted is for a PCA10000/PCA10001 board. You are using a PCA10031 board. What version of segger jlink did you test with ?

Hi, Thanks I did this and now the scanning appears to work. I am not clear on some of the details on how the blesniffer interfacts with jlink ( and how the nRFgo does the same). Is there any documentation that I could read that would educate me on the relevant details. Appreciate the help

I have a PCA10000/PCA10001 board, I have the same problem and I can't find the 5.10d either.
