Will there be an official installer for 1.0.0 pc-ble-driver release

I see that driver version 1.0.0 was tagged on ghitub: github.com/.../v1.0.0

However, when I visit this page: www.nordicsemi.com/.../38649, I can only find the 0.5.0 version, meaning that I must compile 1.0.0 myself in order to use it.

Will there be an official version released (with hex files examples and binaries) as for earlier versions?

The pc-ble-driver sources are now available on Github. You can download the version 1.0 from this page on Github.

Two compiled versions of the connectivity firmware are available for the nRF51 and the nRF52 so you do not need to compile yourself anything for the embedded side.

For the PC side, you should probably use the higher level bindings, available in Python or in Javascript. The library can be interfaced directly in C++, but as far as I know no official examples are provided.

If you look a the pc_ble_driver_py-0.6.1.zip file, you will find a compiled version of the C++ library for several platforms.

According to the build_info.txt file in the pc_ble_driver_py-0.6.1.zip file, you will see that it is based on the commit 4daaddafa991cd1b350ab69aca52ce9924bec8c7 of the library. This is just one commit before the v1.0 tag. But there is no official information about this, so I am not sure if you can use this DLL file directly without using the Python bindings because it uses Swig...
