what do you mean implement the support for 802.15.4 MAC or implement it on top of BLE?
On top of BLE. Like Dialog Semiconductor support in OpenThread Sandbox Development Platform.
I do not see this in the roadmap so quite positive that we wont prioritize this any time soon.
