Future nRF5x chip with better RF power output control steps?

Are there plans to create a nRF5x micro that has finer control over the RF power output? I'm currently using an nRF52, and the 4dBm steps are pushing the limits of our intended application. Ideally, I would love to have 0.5dBm or even 0.1dBm output power control, but even 1dBm steps would be far better than the 4dBm steps.

Out application needs all of the nRF52 devices to be advertising at close to the same power output, and the datasheet specifies +/-4dB RF power accuracy. We can deal with the power accuracy, but only if we have finer control of the RF power setting. All of our boards are made with an RF power meter connector (like the nRF52 dev board) and we can calibrate each device, but only if there's finer TX power control.
