Hi Deepak, yes there are delay functions such as nrf_delay_us and nrf_delay_ms but they're blocking funcitons and you'll not enjoy the side effects they have on the softdevice for those long intervals. Another source of help in the form of an example may be in your project's bsp.c. The version of ble_app_uart from nRF52/SDK15 uses the timer library in its bsp.c.

Howards suggestion on delay functions both blocking and non blocking should suit your use case.

There are lot of examples in the SDK using these API, please read the documentation in the link he provided. If you find his answer useful, please verify it as a valid answer.
