NF52 DK Drag and drop

Hi,

I am following the NRF5 getting started guide. Unfotunately, I am falling down at the first hurdle. When copying the .hex to the JLINK storage, a fail.txt is generated stating: "The currently active SWD interface does not support MSD drag and drop". However, this process is detailed in the guide, and upon checking the segger website, it is stated that this functionality is readily available with this particular DK. Can you help work out why this isn't running out of the box (as expected)?

Hi

First, if you are new to our products, we recommend using the nRF Connect SDK instead of the nRF5 SDK. See our nRF Connect SDK and nRF5 SDK statement.

To get started with the nRF Connect SDK, our DevAcademy is very useful to get started!

However, if you still want to use the nRF5 SDK, you can program the board using Segger Embedded Studio instead of Drag & Drop:
Target->Connect + Target->Download

To be fair, I have already skipped the 'drag and drop' feature and have programmed using nRF Connect SDK. This works just fine. However, the drag and drop issue should be resolved as it is described in the getting started guide. Thanks anyway.

Was this issue ever resolved?

I am facing the same issue. This worked just fine with previous boards. The new boards we just purchased are failing.
