  • I do agree, price is too high (there are modules and dev kits at half the price or even less...)

    But to the BT 5.0 support: are all features like higher range and data rates mandatory or is it the same as with previous versions where Nordic can claim that their HW + Stack are BT 4.2 even they don't support 100% feature set (because they support mandatory sub-set)? I can imagine nRF52832 could be rated as BT 5.0 compliant even without some features which are supported only by HW of nRF52840 (and with the same logic existence of nRF52840 is justified as being flag-ship with full BT 5.0 support).
