Risks of changing an internal RC oscillator to an external TCXO

Hello,

I am developing with the nRF52840 (s140) nRF5_SDK version 16.1.

I want to change the existing internal RC oscillator clock to an external TCXO clock (to reduce current consumption).

I understand that this will change the clock waveform from a sinusoidal to a square wave.

I would like to know if there are any dangerous effects of changing the clock
(such as BLE or sensor measurements).
