Wifi NaN or Wifi Aware protocol

Do you support Wifi NaN (Neighbor awareness Network) protocol or ar there any plans to offer it in the near future?

Wifi NaN is one of the protocol used by the Remote ID broadcast standard. This standard is mandatory for drone in US for few months and and will be in EU soon. Drones have to broadcast there ID, position and other information.

Hi Marco,

We do not support WiFi NaN, but for the receiving side of this, we have support to get the raw scan results which include Vendor Specific Information Elements that are used for the Drone Remote ID and you can check if this is enough for your purposes. For details regarding roadmaps etc I would also suggest you to contact your Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
