Wi-Fi direct client mode (P2P)

Hello,

The documentation in the nRF7002 Product Specification rev 1.0 says that the P2P mode (Peer-to-peer) is supported (section 6). However in this ticket: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/96881/how-to-enable-wifi-direct-mode (from 3 months ago) it was mentioned that this mode is not yet supported. So before buying the 7002 dev kit I would like to confirm that the Wi-Fi direct client mode is now supported.

It does look like it's something for the future, for the nRF7002DK. But I will just confirm this once internally and get back to you.

Hi Michal,

Yes, I have verified it internally. It looks like Wi-Fi direct is not yet supported, but is on the roadmap and progress regarding this can be inquired with your respective RSM.
