nRF52832 what does the start-up look like?

When the nRF52832 is on a PCB, without the dev kit, what are it's needs? Does it start when powered on or is there an initialization that needs to happen first? Let's say the nRF52832 has been factory programmed will it always function the same from there on out. Thank you for any help in advance.

Hi,

The nRF52832 boots when VDD is applied, as long as all the external components listed in the reference schematic is present, no initialization is required.
