NRF9160 selection of cell tower or service provider to connect to

Is it possible to configure the Nordic model library to connect to a specific cell id, or to a specific service provider?

If yes, I would be very happy if you could provide a hint on how this can be achieved.

You can use the AT+COPS command to set automatic or manual network selection.

When you chose manual network selection, you must provide the 5 or 6 digit MCC/MNC of the network you wish to connect to.

If you choose automatic network selection, you can use the AT+COPS read command  once online to retrieve the MCC/MNC of the network that was automatically selected.
