nrf8001 and OTA

Hello Guys,

I need suggestion regarding the selection of nrf8001 ble module

Does it support OTA updates? What is communication interface? is it SPI or conventional UART?

also if anyone can suggest me low cost ble module based on nrf8001 that would be great. I do not want to go for soc solution since i'm using atmega328p and my application is just to transfer the data from UART to smartphone.

It's SPI - see the datasheet.

See the ble-sdk-arduino for software & examples - including firmware update.
