Nordic distance measurement report RSSI values

Hello,

Using the distance measurement toolbox from nordic i am trying to get all raw measurement data to processing myself.

I also want to include use the RSSI

However my rssi values seem to always be zero.

My SDK version is 1.9.0(for compatibility reasons with other code), however for the NRFX of the DM lib part I am using the latest version of the library.

Is the RSSI not appearing a known issue or is this because of my setup or some other reason?

Please use the NRFX of the DM lib from the same SDK you are using. 

Are you able to get the RSSI value from the unmodified nRF Distance Measurement with Bluetooth LE discovery as the result of The MCPD method?

 I will verify this.

However, due to compatibility reasons I am still preferably required to use the 1.9.0 SDK with the 2.2.0 nrfx dm lib.

As the 1.9.0 nrf_dm toolbox is lacking some desirable features.

I only swapped the specific nrf_dm folder to the newer version.

Is there some dependency that might be causing the problem of the RSSI not showing correctly?

The rest of the library seems to work fine, I am getting proper measurement results.

We don't support this use case to mix different versions of NCS and libraries together which might cause various issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I found the issue in why the RSSI (and other values) were not displayed correctly.

I had changed a struct in the header file (nrf_dm.h) of the NRFX library to include the high_precision, reverting this resolved the issue on both versions.
